Hi all

I have promised Moving Abroad Europe that I would sing their praises - well they did buy me dinner!. Just a bit of day time humor. The problem is that people always write letters to complain but we would like to break the mould.

My wife and i received quotations and did lot of research into this for the move   to our summer house, which was an entire 3 bedroom house worth over 3 trips incidentally. We needed a real door to door service (There were lots that said they did) because our house is a renovation special and its in a bit of a remote spot so narrow roads and low branches, there is no possibility of big lorries reaching it without destroying a couple of hundred olive trees on the way. We have some friends living on Paxos (the traitors!) They had many problems also trying different companies to ship their goods as they had to send a few pieces at a time. As with us some things were broken and a couple of pieces ended up in Athens. One of the companies our friends used advertised to begin with as specialists to Greece in removals, but someone pointed out that they actually advertise in magazines covering different countries and in each instance they claim to be the specialist in that country! Makes you wonder.

We would like to say that Alan and John, from Moving Abroad Europe were the saving grace. Nothing broken, nothing missing and they really were door to door.
They collected from our house in Surrey and four days later our belongings arrived and were put into all the right rooms in the house without us even being there! They even seemed to know to some degree of accuracy where our house was. We expected some hidden charges or to find suddenly that it was going to cost more than they estimated over the telephone but no shocks occurred. Their estimates, without even seeing the shipments, were almost spot on. We measured them to be sure and sure it was.

So gentlemen, if you are reading this, well done and thank you. Moving Abroad (no pun intended....actually there is) took all the stress out of moving as well as 'delivering' on their promises. When people move abroad or mange to buy a house on a Greek island or any where warm and sunny, its often a life long dream. That dream is so easily damaged as we and friends of ours have found but eventually discovered a company that put our dream back on track (was that another pun?!!) Ha
